All on Four Dental Implants

All on Four Implants are a long-term solution to replace all teeth with just four dental implants.

Whether you’re missing a few or many teeth, all on four dental implants may be a suitable procedure that combines aesthetic beauty, functionality, and long-term durability. The key point of difference between traditional dental implants and all on four implants is that we can replace all of your teeth with just four dental implants.

Fitted with durable titanium fixtures that support both rows of your new teeth, all on four implants provide a natural, permanent solution that you can treat as you would your normal teeth.

When it comes to long-term durability, All on Four Implants are significantly more durable than traditional implants which have a life span of just 5 to 15 years.

All on Four Implants are a permanent solution for those looking for a viable solution to traditional dentures or implants.

The All on Four Dental Implant Process

All on Four dental implants are a permanent solution. As such, we need to take the time to assess and address any issues with your teeth beforehand to ensure a comfortable and ideal outcome that will last for years.

  1. Attend an initial consultation during which our dentists assess the suitability of All on Four dental implants based on the condition of your teeth, jaw, and gums.
  2. Any existing dental problems will be first treated to reduce the risk of future complications and ensure a good fit. Our dentists will inform you if treatment is required.
  3. X-ray imaging of your mouth and jaw will be taken to allow our dentists to create a customised bridge for the All on Four dental implants.
  4. Dental implants will be placed during surgery and left to heal for a period of time.
  5. Post-recovery, the custom All on Four bridges will be securely fitted onto the implants as a new set of teeth.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the timeframe for getting All on Four dental implants?

Each patient is unique and will have different requirements based on teeth and jaw conditions. The timeline for getting All on Four implants fitted can be broken up into two parts: pre and post-procedure, which span approximately 3 to 6 months.

Assuming there are no other dental issues,  preparation usually takes 1-2 consultations. The implant procedure itself will take 3-4 hours.

After the procedure, there will be a recovery time ranging from 3-6 months. The new dental bridges can be fitted as soon as the jawbone and gums have healed.

Will getting All on Four dental implants be painful?

Our patients will be placed under general anaesthesia during the procedure and will not experience any pain throughout the procedure. It is normal to feel some dullness or numbness after the surgery, but these sensations will fade within a few hours.

Some discomfort may be felt during the recovery period as the gums start to heal. Our dentists will closely monitor the recovery process during follow-up appointments and issue painkillers to reduce the level of discomfort.
